Laptops at NDSCS

Many NDSCS programs require students to have a laptop computer for use in their classes.

Tablet devices, such as iPads and Chromebooks, will not work for this purpose.

In most cases, a current Windows 11 computer is required. These may be purchased from NDSCS if you do not already have a laptop – see details below.

If you already have a laptop but you are unsure if it will meet these requirements, contact a faculty member in your program (or you can email NDSCS ITS Service Desk at NDSCS.ServiceDesk@ndscs.edu).
