Cooperative Education

The Cooperative Education program (co-op) at NDSCS is an enhancement to the student’s curriculum that can become a valuable part of the student’s college education. It provides students the opportunity to apply their classroom learning in the work environment and, in some cases, may open the door to full-time employment upon graduation. Some programs require a co-op while it is optional for others. Students can talk with their Academic Advisor for guidance.

Co-ops are paid work experience where co-op students work as a regular part-time or full-time employee, earning academic credit for knowledge and skills acquired on the job.
