See first-hand what our students, alumni and employers think of the NDSCS Pharmacy Technician program.
" NDSCS is a great option. There are many different jobs and positions in a pharmacy that you should be able to find something you enjoy. Pharmacy technician seemed like a good fit, and only a 1 or 2 year online program which was appealing to me. The way the program is structured is also very convenient; for me, I was able to do almost all of the classes online so that I can still be working at the same time."
- Jennifer Flemmer, Pharmacy Technician student
"After watching my coworker, I thought that I would work to obtain a pharmacy technician degree. I mentioned to my manager about my recent interest and he had told me that there was a chance that he could have it get paid for, from the pharmacy owner. So fast forward I applied to the program and am obtaining this degree with no cost to me, my employer just asks I stay with the pharmacy for at least three years following my degree completion.
If someone wants to be in a fast-paced hands-on workplace, I would definitely look into this program. This program being both online and in-person makes it very easy to balance school and work."
- Darian Reinke, Pharmacy Technician student
"In the last year, Jennifer has been working with us part time as a registered Pharmacy Technician-in-Training with the ND Board of Pharmacy, and is successfully completing her degree at NDSCS at the same time. Jennifer will transition into a Full Time role with us at the end of May. We are very fortunate to have her trained in and competent to work as an Inpatient Pharmacy Technician the day after she graduates from NDSCS. Essentia financially sponsored Jennifer’s schooling, but in return, Essentia has a Pharmacy Technician that will fulfill workability for our Team for years to come."
