Tuition rates for Dual Credit courses will vary depending on how and where the courses are taught. Tuition is charged on a per-credit basis as determined by the number of college credits awarded for the class.
Below are tuition rates and mandatory fees for the 2025-2026 academic year. These costs are subject to change without notice.

Example of cost for a 3 credit class:
Subsidized: 3 credits x $92.78 = $278.34
Unsubsidized: 3 credits x $159.90 = $479.70
Bank of North Dakota Assistance
Students who qualify for free/reduced meals at their high school may qualify for tuition assistance for up to 2 dual credit courses per academic year.

Dropping Classes
Students who want to drop one of their Dual Credit classes will do so through CampusConnection.
Refunds for dropped classes will be determined according to NDSCS Refund Schedule.
*If you want to drop all of your classes, or the only class you are enrolled in, you will need to notify the Dual Credit Office by emailing NDSCS.DualCredit@ndscs.edu. Include your first name, high school you attend, and what you are requesting.

The schedules reflect the percentage of refund for class tuition when students withdraw from all classes. Students who just drop one class (or part of their class load) for the semester will receive a 100% refund if the class is dropped by the 100% refund date indicated. After that date, students who drop part of their class load will receive no refund.
Withdrawing from School — If a student is totally withdrawing from school (dropping all classes), tuition may be refunded based upon the Withdrawal Refund Schedule and the SBHE refund policy.
Dropping Part of Your Class Load (for example if you are enrolled in two or more classes and decide to drop one of them) — Students who drop a class shall receive a 100% refund of tuition only for the first 0-8.999% of the semester. This equates to approximately the first seven-eight (7-8) class days for full-semester classes and approximately the first three-four (3-4) class days for half-semester and summer classes.
