Graduation Information

NDSCS Degree and Graduation Student Procedure

NDSCS Graduation Petition Form

If you are ready to graduate, please complete an NDSCS Graduation Petition. Once submitted, the Office of the Registrar will review your academic record and let you know if you are missing any requirements. 

Continuing Enrollment

If you plan to continue enrollment at NDSCS for the following term after graduation, you must file a Continuing Enrollment Form by following the steps below:

  • Sign into CampusConnection
  • Select NDSCS eForms tile
  • In the menu on the left select Enrollment Services
  • Select Continuing Enrollment

2024 NDSCS Commencement Ceremony

Commencement will be held in-person on Friday, May 10, 2024 at 3 p.m. at the Ed Werre Arena in the Clair T. Blikre Activities Center in Wahpeton, N.D.

This is a free event and there are no tickets required. Seating is on a first come, first served basis. Reserving seats in the Arena will not be permitted.

The entire commencement ceremony will be live-streamed.

Important Information for Graduates
  • Official graduation attire/regalia (caps and gowns) may be purchased at the Bookstore starting around April 1st. You MUST wear full graduation regalia or you will not be permitted to participate in the ceremony.
  • Graduates must report to the Blikre Activities Center (BAC), entering through the Northwest doors by 2:00 p.m.; doors open at 1:45 p.m.
  • Detailed information and instructions will be shared with graduates on April 15, May 1, and May 8 through their NDSCS email accounts.
  • The Grad Team Photography will be taking professional pictures of the graduates as they receive their diplomas. Students are under no obligation to purchase their graduation picture. You will also be given an opportunity to purchase more than one copy of the picture if you so choose.
  • For specific questions or special accommodation requests, contact the Registrar’s Office at 701-671-2204.
Important Information for Guests
  • Guests will only be allowed to enter the SOUTH doors of the Blikre Activities Center (BAC); Doors will open at 1:45 p.m. and will close promptly at 2:50 p.m. (NO EXCEPTIONS).
  • A graduation program will be available when entering the Ed Were Arena. Additional programs may be available after the ceremony. A digital copy of the program will be available on this website following the ceremony.
  • Guests will be ushered to the seating area. Seating is on a first come, first served basis. Reserving seats will not be permitted.
  • For guests that are unable to attend, the entire commencement ceremony will be live streamed.
  • For specific questions or special accommodation requests, contact the Registrar’s Office at 701-671-2204.
