The Human Resources Department is responsible for several vital functions - employee recruitment and staffing, employee benefits, payroll, safety, professional development and policy administration, as examples. Additionally, HR coordinates employee orientation, supervisory training and mandated training.
Human Resources also should be the first stop for students seeking employment on campus. The HR staff accepts work-study applications and makes recommendation to departments with vacancies for student workers. HR is located conveniently across the hall from the Financial Aid area for students who want to explore campus employment opportunities.
