The NDSCS STEM Scholars program, funded by a $600,000 National Science Foundation grant, provides financial assistance to students through a comprehensive scholarship program that includes three scholarship types and approximately 180 awards over five years.
Financial assistance of up to $10,000 per year.
Students must be fully accepted into the NDSCS STEM Scholars program.
Opportunity and Incentive Scholarship
Designed to encourage students considering careers in a STEM field, but who do not meet all of the program entry requirements.
One semester award of $500.
Students who maintain at least a 3.0 GPA while receiving the Opportunity and Incentive Scholarship become Standard Scholarship recipients.
Financial assistance of up to $1,000-$5,000.
Awarded to graduating students upon acceptance and entry into a STEM-related field at a university.
