NDSCS Agriculture students excel at North Dakota State PAS Competition

Ten North Dakota State College of Science Agriculture students recently attended the North Dakota State Postsecondary Agricultural Student (PAS) conference in Fargo, N.D. Congratulations to the following students who placed:

  • Adam Sipp: 2nd High Individual Crop Specialist and 5th High in Agribusiness Career Interview
  • Ashlyn Draovitch: High Individual in both Equine Specialist and Production Career Interview
  • Gabby Nordick: 3rd High Individual in Equine Specialist and 2nd High Individual in Production Career Interview
  • Colton Johnson: 4th High Individual in Agribusiness Interview
  • NDSCS Teams:
    • High Team in Equine Specialist (Ashlyn Draovitch and Gabby Nordick)
    • 3rd High in Crops Specialist (Adam Sipp, Jarrett Hudson and Zachary Schmaltz)
    • 3rd High Team in Livestock Specialist (Colin Magedanz, Triston Erickson and Megan Kokett).

The North Dakota PAS organization was organized in November 1979 while the National PAS organization was officially founded in March 1980. North Dakota membership includes five chapters and over 160 members. National membership totals approximately 1,400 members from 62 chapters located in 18 states and is available to students in agriculture/agribusiness/natural resources postsecondary programs in approximately 550 institutions in all 50 states.
