NDSCS awarded Lt. Governor’s Worksite Wellness Award
The North Dakota State College of Science has been awarded with the Bronze level of the Healthy North Dakota Worksite Wellness Lt. Governor’s Award.
Created to recognize NDPERS agencies that demonstrate a commitment to creating a healthy worksite, this is the first year of the award’s existence. Award levels (Gold, Silver or Bronze) were granted based on meeting minimal baseline requirements. Applications were received from 34 agencies: 17 received a bronze level, six a silver level and one a gold level.
“We are honored to receive this designation,” said NDSCS President Dr. John Richman. “The College strongly believes in fostering a healthy environment for all students, staff and faculty.”
Award winners were recognized at the Healthy North Dakota Worksite Wellness Summit in early October.
