The North Dakota State College of Science has named nine students from its Caterpillar Dealer Service Technician program to its summer semester 2017 President’s Honor List. The Honor List recognizes students who have achieved grade point averages of 3.5 or higher while taking at least 12 credits with letter grades.

North Dakota State College of Science fall semester classes will begin Monday, August 21 at 4 p.m. for all students in Wahpeton, Fargo and online. Students who are not yet enrolled for fall semester can still do so by contacting the Enrollment Services office at 701-671-2521.
Opening weekend events in Wahpeton will kick off on Saturday, August 19 when residence halls open. New student orientation, an annual series of events designed to help students connect to the College community and establish positive and healthy habits, will take place from August 19-25 and will include outdoor evening activities for new and returning students.
These events will include:
• August 19, 9 - 11 p.m.: Outdoor Movie on The Oval
• August 20, 9 p.m. – 12 a.m.: Street dance in Lot 1 behind the Hektner Student Center
• August 21, 9 - 11 p.m.: Glow Volleyball and other Glow Games with music on The Oval
• August 24, 9 p.m. – 12 a.m.: Street Dance in Lot 1 behind the Hektner Student Center
Are you ready for a career change? North Dakota State College of Science is kicking off the school year with its popular Business Pro Series. Classes start on Monday, September 11 and feature convenient early evening start times, one night a week at NDSCS-Fargo, 1305 19th Avenue North. In just two years, students can earn an A.A.S. degree in Business Management.
Business Pro Series classes are offered in a convenient, accelerated format. The Series is ideal for adult learners who are ready to gain the skills and knowledge necessary to advance their careers. The Business Pro Series is highlighted by four areas of emphasis: Sales, Management, Finance and Entrepreneurship/Marketing. Each area of emphasis includes courses that lead to a certificate in Business Management. Students can choose to earn certificates in one or more areas of emphasis, or complete the full series in about two years.

North Dakota State College of Science will host an informational meeting on Wednesday, August 9 from 1:30-4:30 p.m. for students interested in the Practical Nursing program at the College’s Fargo location. NDSCS-Fargo is located at 1305 19th Avenue North. The informational meeting will be held in room 190.
Prospective students will learn about program dates and application requirements, and will have the opportunity to visit with department faculty as well as admissions and financial aid staff.
