Library staff can order books or photocopies of articles through the InterLibrary Loan (ILL) system if items are not available at the Mildred Johnson Library.
Any patron who has a valid library card may request materials through ILL. Some items may not be lent by another library, such as rare or valuable items, bulky or fragile items, some reference materials, reserved materials, and entire issues or volumes of periodicals. Items already owned by the Mildred Johnson Library should be requested through holds rather than through ILL.
In general, the lending library will make the decision as to the length of the loan, any fines or if the item can be loaned. Items may occasionally be renewed, but are subject to recall by the lending library.
For InterLibrary Loan Requests, please use the below forms. Print the applicable form and bring your request into the Mildred Johnson Library or save the form to your computer and email it to NDSCS.Library@ndscs.edu with ILL Request typed in the Subject line.

You have a few options from this point. The first and most recommended option would be to download one of the browsers below. If that is not possible, the second suggestion would be to update your current browser, you can follow the update link below for that. Otherwise, the site will still function in its current state, but in a limited capacity.
