2022 HEART Camp


July 10-12, 2022 - NDSCS Wahpeton Campus

Healthcare Education, Adventures, Research and Tours (HEART) camp provides students two days of hands-on activities and experiences allowing them to explore a wide variety of health careers that require earning an associate degree or less.

This residential camp is a collaboration between Sanford and North Dakota State College of Science (NDSCS); with assistance from MState. Campers will explore the allied health academic programs at NDSCS (Wahpeton, ND) – gaining a better understanding of the various programs, learning environments, and possible careers. Campers will also have the unique opportunity to experience healthcare career opportunities at various Sanford Health locations (Fargo, ND).

  • HEART camp is open to students entering 11th, 12th, or their first year in college Fall 2022 that are considering a career in healthcare.
  • Priority will be given to students from rural locations.
  • Applications should be submitted as soon as possible - priority given to those registered prior to June 3, 2022. 
  • Campers must commit to being present at all activities and staying on campus for the duration of the camp.
  • Cost for each camper is $100. This cost provides campers with a residence hall room for two nights (based on double occupancy), meals, snacks, chaperones, transportation while at camp, supplies and recreation activities, camp t-shirt, and other great swag.
