Programs in the Applied Science and Technologies department bridge basic science with principles used to create innovative new technologies.

The Applied Science and Technologies Department educates students to meet the growing need for highly skilled employees in the emerging technology areas of Nanoscience Technology and Microelectronics Technology.

Students in these programs have the opportunity to learn through hands-on classes at the Center for Nanoscience Technology Training - a state of the art advanced manufacturing training laboratory.   

Scholarship Opportunity

Scholarships are available through the NDSCS STEM Scholars Program funded by a National Science Foundation grant.
