| 5th Street Sanitary Sewer | |
| Storm Sewer and Water Line Replacement | ![]() |
During the steam line replacement project, NDSCS had the opportunity to replace the sanitary sewer and water lines since the streets were already dug up. This ultimately saved the college money by paving and replacing the road only once. The water and sewer lines were both original and greatly deteriorated. In addition, to the deteriorated lines, the street had poor water drainage. To alleviate this problem, additional storm drains were added and the road was sloped during the rebuild. The project cost was approximately $375,000. Interstate Engineering, Inc. was the engineering firm and Riley Bros Construction, Inc. was the general contractor. |
