North Dakota State College of Science Chief Information Officer, Cloy Tobola, Ph.D., recently completed the 2012 EDUCAUSE Institute Leadership Program.
This intensive leadership immersion program is intended for new CIOs and experienced information technology (IT) leaders and is only offered once per year. Designed to enhance leadership abilities and broaden perspectives, the EDUCAUSE Institute Leadership Program enables participants to assume greater leadership roles in information technology areas within their institutions.
Nationally recognized IT leaders in higher education were chosen to work closely with participants to discover new ways to provide educational leadership, implement strategic planning and lead change at their specific institutions.
Tobola, originally from Jackson, Minn., graduated from North Dakota State University with a bachelor’s degree in journalism, a master’s degree in mass communication and a doctoral degree in communication. He previously worked as the Communications Coordinator for the IT Division at NDSU.
