Video conferencing is a communication tool using audio and video technologies to bring together people who are geographically separated. North Dakota State College of Science has the following video conferencing services available.
 
IVN
IVN uses the H.323/IP videoconferencing standard with the ability to bridge with H.320, ISDN, and other videoconferencing technologies. Testing prior to the event is required and there is a charge for this service. For more information about the statewide IVN network go to their Web site.
 
Greater Southeast ITV Consortium
The Greater Southeast Interactive TV Consortium is the collective efforts of 13 educational providers in south-eastern North Dakota. Linked by a fiber optic backbone, the facilities include a full service two-way analog classroom at each site, set up to three remote sites at a time. One way delivery is possible to all 13 sites simultaneously.
 
Dial Up and IP Video conferencing
This special multi-purpose room utilizes H.323/IP videoconferencing, ISDN conferencing, Web streaming, and satellite down-linking for classes and meetings. Call (701) 671-2190 or e-mail for costs and availability.
