Notes:  
1. Covers damage such as liquid spilled in the keyboard, accidentally dropping the laptop, most damage that is not covered under the normal warranty. This protection covers the laptop for the first three years.
2. 1st Level Maintenance includes replacement of hard drives, memory, batteries, multibay devices, etc. Internal devices such as monitors, system boards etc. must be replaced at the HP/Compaq Depot.
3. Microsoft Office 2003 will be pre-installed and will remain with the computer and does not need to be removed when the student leaves the college. Software included consists of Word 2003, Excel 2003, Access 2003, PowerPoint 2003, Publisher 2003, and Outlook 2003.
4. Upon receiving laptop: the laptop must be either paid in full or the first semester lease payment must be paid. If paying with financial aid, all paperwork must be completed and have enough to cover the cost of the laptop whether purchasing or leasing. Need written proof from the NDSCS Business Office that your financial aid is allocated to cover the expense of the laptop after all other college expenses are paid for.
5. For Architectural Drafting and Civil Engineering students, AutoCAD software must be purchased separately.
6. A $200 non-refundable deposit must be made to the NDSCS Computer Center for reservation of a laptop.
 
The Total Package Price will include:
• Same day service at the on-campus location.
• Imaging and re-imaging of computers purchased through the college.
• Access to loaner equipment if needed.
