Grants Management

NDSCS’s Grants Management Office works with faculty, staff, and administrators to research, develop, and write proposals that advance the mission and strategic plan of NDSCS. The NDSCS Grants Office serves as the clearinghouse for all college grant opportunities and grant seekers to advance the mission of the college, prevent duplication of efforts, and maximize grant revenue for the college.

The office provides the following services/assistance to the campus community:

  • • Funding research (federal, state, and foundation)
  • • Meet to develop a timeline and plan proposal
  • • Assist in writing, editing, and reviewing proposal
  • • Obtain and clarify current guidelines (RFPs) for the application process
  • • Help develop measurable project objectives and activities so that they are aligned with grant specifications
  • • Collaborate on developing the budget and conferring with the NDSCS Business Affairs Office
  • • Contact Program Officers for more information
  • • Facilitate grant approval and obtain appropriate signatures
  • • Compile the final proposal for submission, ensuring it meets all RFP guidelines
  • • Proposal duplication and submission
  • - Mail or submit electronically all proposals meeting application deadline dates
  • • Maintain file copies of all pending, funded, and unfunded proposals submitted
  • • Provide on-going grant management and reporting support
