Pharmacy Technicians are employed
in a variety of settings including Drug Stores,
Rehabilitation Pharmacies, Hospital Pharmacies,
Cancer Centers, Home Health, Infusions Centers as
well as research institutions, manufacturers and
industrial settings.
The
Bureau
of Labor Statistics includes Pharmacy
Technicians
in their fastest growing career category. Technicians
have assumed many of the technical tasks that
once were done by
pharmacists. A changing profession coupled with
a shortage of pharmacists is continuing to offer
new career opportunities for today's educated
technicians.
Salaries are changing daily with a starting range
of $10.00
to $12.00 per hour.
The
