Scholarship Winners
- 2005
The
North Dakota State College of Science Pharmacy
Technician Program is proud to announce
that six pharmacy technician students have
been awarded scholarships Spring Semester
2005.
Tessa
Waxweiler received the ND Pharmaceutical
District 8 Scholarship, Tanya Harder received
the Northland Association of Pharmacy Technicians
Scholarship and Jana Kapaun, Stacey Larson,
Tara Greseth, and Paula G'sell received
Pharmacy Technician Scholarships.

Scholarship Winners -
2004
The
North Dakota State College of Science is
proud to announce that six scholarships
have been awarded for the Spring 2004 Semester.
The Northland Association of Pharmacy Technicians
awarded four $250 scholarships. The winners
were:
Kalliann Tofte
from Williston North Dakota. Kalliann will
be receiving her Associate in Applied Science
degree in Pharmacy Technology upon completion
of her internship. Kalliann plans on returning
to her hometown to pursue her career as
a pharmacy technician.
Shayla Maier from Center North Dakota.
Shyala also expresses a desire to remain
in North Dakota upon the completion of her
internship. Shayla will also be receiving
her Associate in Applied Science degree
in Pharmacy Technology and is a 4.0 student.
Trudy Doll
is from New Salem North Dakota. In addition
to being an excellent pharmacy technician
student, Trudy has been a standout volleyball
player for NDSCS. Trudy was captain of the
nationally ranked Wildcat volleyball team.
Trudy will also be receiving her Associate
in Applied Science degree in Pharmacy Technology.
Jessica Kjelden
is from Fargo North Dakota. Jessica is already
a graduate of Concordia College in Moorhead
and now pursuing a career as a pharmacy
technician. Jessica is currently employed
part time as a pharmacy technician in Breckenridge
and has expressed an interest in continuing
in the retail pharmacy setting upon completion
of her AAS degree.
Scholarships
also went to Jennie
Muller and Heather
Stremick from the auction donations
from the NDPhA convention. Jennie Muller
has already had several years of experience
as a pharmacy technician in Minnesota and
decided to continue her education pursuing
an Associate Degree in Applied Science in
Pharmacy Technology. Jennie would eventually
like to pursue Pharmacy School. Heather
Stremick is from Osnabrock North Dakota
and will be completing her Associate in
Applied Science degree in Pharmacy Technology.
Heather, like Jennie would also like to
pursue a career as a pharmacist. Heather
has been busy taking courses in the pre-pharmacy
curriculum as well as completing the requirements
for the pharmacy technician program.
