Practical Nursing Program

The Practical Nursing Program offers students interested in the health-care profession the chance to learn in a modern, on-campus facility and in several regional medical locations. The Mayme Green Allied Health Center features a nursing assessment room, nursing laboratory, and classrooms.

The Nursing faculty bring a combination of teaching experience and clinical backgrounds to the classroom. The instructors have been selected based on their expertise and knowledge in specialty areas.

The Practical Nursing Program has a strong tradition of service to the state and region, preparing practical nurses to work in a variety of settings. NDSCS graduates are prepared to enter the workplace and also earn credits that transfer easily into an associate in science program or a baccalaureate program.

The NDSCS Practical Nursing program is fully accredited by the National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission (NLNAC), 61 Broadway, 33rd Floor, New York, NY 10006, 1-800-669-1656, ext. 153 and has full approval from the North Dakota Board of Nursing, 919 South 7th Street, Suite 504, Bismarck, ND 58504, 701-328-9777
