Marketing Management

The Marketing Management option provides the student with skills necessary to be successful in a number of management-level positions in retailing and sales. This option is directed more to the management skills in retailing of products and services. It also emphasizes psychology and skills of selling on the retail and direct/professional level.

Students are provided with a variety of courses and course delivery to develop skills in communications, mathematics, computers, accounting, as well as business and management. The faculty advisors will assist the student develop an appropriate program to meet his/her career goals.

Employment opportunities are unlimited, depending upon the individuals’s strengths and interests. Opportunities in the dynamic, ever changing field of retailing/sales remain strong.

Admission requirements

The applicants must be high school graduates or equivalent. Any work experience and marketing or general business courses would be helpful.

Award

Upon successful completion of the required courses, students will be awarded an Associate in Applied Science degree in Business Management with an emphasis in Marketing Management.
