NDSCS is partnering with the North Dakota University System and Microsoft to provide students with a new e-mail system and a whole suite of services.
While traditional @ndscs.edu e-mail addresses will continue to be used as an official communication channel between the college and students, NDSCS will also provide students with new Windows Live e-mail accounts.

The goal is to transition students to the new NDSCS Live e-mail system by the fall of 2011. The new student accounts will use the same username (typically firstname.lastname) and will end with @my.ndscs.edu instead of @ndscs.edu.
The new accounts will provide students access to more online services including 25 gigabytes of file storage, and a Web-based version of Microsoft Office.
Students who prefer not to use two e-mail accounts can set their NDSCS Live E-mail accounts to "pull" in e-mail from their @ndscs.edu accounts. This will allow students to aggregate their e-mail into one account which will allow for easy management of their messages.
