| Named after the former college President Clair T. Blikre, the Clair T. Blikre Activities Center houses the Ed Werre Arena, Wildcat Wellness Center, weight room, swimming pool, auxiliary gym, racquetball courts, an indoor eight-lane track and classrooms. |

| The Ed Werre Arena | |
| The Ed Werre Arena is named after Edward E. Werre, former instructor, coach and athletic director from 1949 to 1981. The facility is capable of hosting concerts, family shows, graduations, lyceums, craft shows, conventions and other programs. Seating capacity for the arena is in excess of 4,100. | ![]() |
| The Wildcat Wellness Center | |
| The Wildcat Wellness Center features quality equipment including: five treadmills, two Summit trainers, four bikes, five elliptical machines, dozens of weight machines, free weights and three 42-inch flat screen televisions. The Wildcat Wellness Center is available to NDSCS students, faculty, staff as well as community members. |

| Two full-court racquetball courts | |
| Two full-court racquetball courts with observation viewing are located on the second level of the Blikre Activities Center. Equipment use is available free for members. | ![]() |
| Frank Vertin Field and Skip Bute Alumni Stadium | |
| The Wildcats athletic field is named after Frank Vertin, a former Wahpeton businessman. The family made a generous contribution to NDSCS in honor of Vertin. The Skip Bute Alumni Stadium was named in recognition of over 50,000 alumni and Skip Bute, the college’s first football coach, basketball coach and director of athletics. The Alumni Stadium can seat 4,000. |
