| Diversity | |
| North Dakota State College of Science has a diverse student population of over 2,400 students. NDSCS has students from all 50 states, Canada and other countries. In addition, students come from rural populations and global populations. NDSCS's diverse students of ethnicity, economic, social, regional, global, age, gender, program and other. NDSCS is melting pot of students and cultures. | |

| Residence Life | |
| The Residence Life Program is an important component of the living and learning environment at NDSCS. Living on-campus gives the student an opportunity to cultivate lifelong friendships with a large number of fellow students from backgrounds rich in cultural diversity. Residence Life offers a wide variety of hall-sponsored activities ranging from intramural athletic teams and monthly birthday parties to hall governments and seminars on issues of current student interest. The residence hall staff are ready and willing to help make a student’s transition to college life an easy and positive one. | |

| Auxiliary Services and Dining Services | |
| NDSCS offers a variety of meal plans to fit a student’s appetite. All freshman students under the age of 21 without dependents who is not living with a spouse(s), parent, grandparent or legal guardian are required to purchase a dining plan. Students can choose from 160, 225, or 300, Dining plan per semester. Dining plans will begin on Monday prior to the first day of regularly scheduled classes and will end with lunch on the last day of final exams for each semester. Thanksgiving, Christmas, Spring Break and Easter are not included in the dining plans. Payment for dining plans are made during the regular fee payment times. | |

| NDSCS Bookstore | |
| The Bookstore, located in the Student Center, offers books, tools and supplies required for classes. Required books purchased for classes can be returned to the bookstore for full refund up to three weeks from the first day of class with receipt. New books must be in new and unmarked condition for full refund at that time. At the end of each semester, books used by the students may be bought back for cash. The book needs to be a current edition, in good condition, and the Bookstore must have a commitment for its use. Any information needed on required books, tools, and supplies can be obtained from the Bookstore any time during regular business hours. The store is open year-round (except legal holidays) Monday through Friday from 7:45 a.m. to 4:45 p.m. The Bookstore also offers a complete line of NDSCS imprinted clothing and gift ware, cards and seasonal gift ware. | |

| Student Health and Counseling Services | |
| Services provided are confidential and included but are not limited to: | |

| Campus Police | |
| The NDSCS Campus Police Department is dedicated to providing the highest quality police service to students, faculty, staff and visitors to our campus. The primary mission of the NDSCS Campus Police Department is to protect the lives and property, and the belief that people are our most valuable resource. They are dedicated to building community partnerships and applying unique and innovative practices to the college environment. | |

| Print Services | |
| Print Services provides a wide array of copying services to accommodate the community, also available for personal copies. Services include: black and white copying, color copying, stapling, folding, sheet insertion, specialty paper stock and covers and laminating. |

| Computer Center - Help Desk | |
| The NDSCS Help Desk has been set up to allow NDSCS Faculty, Staff and Students to send questions and report problems directly to the CTS Center. In addition, students can request to have their NDSCS e-mail accounts activated. Please use the Help Desk to contact CTS Center whenever possible. | |

| The Help Desk will be staffed Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. and noon to 4:30 p.m. After hours, the phone will be answered by the voice mail system. Voice and e-mail messages are checked at least once per hour. | |

| Alumni | |
| NDSCS has more than 100 years of tradition in providing a quality education. Over 54,000 graduates have graduated from NDSCS with certificates, diplomas or associate degrees. The NDSCS Alumni Foundation is responsible for keeping in touch with NDSCS graduates to inform them on what is happening with the campus, current students and alumni. | |
| NDSCS Alumni Foundation raises funds throughout the year to contribute to the campus endeavors and to scholarships for students. | |
