Test Center – Mildred Johnson Library Room 222
Academic Services Center provides proctoring for online testing and an alternative testing site for students who qualify. Please see the Testing Center guidelines for instructors and students prior to requesting testing services.

Monday: 8 am to 7 pm

Tuesday - Friday: 8 am to 4:30 pm

Faculty requesting testing services must fill out the Test Center Instruction Form for each test. All testing information, such as passwords or any changes, should be sent to the Test Center's email address: NDSCS.TestCenter@ndscs.edu.

Please note that if classes are not in session, the Test Center is closed. Please check Campus Calendar for dates. The Test Center is not designed to test an entire class. Please check with Karen Dahlgren or Linda Fink before sending large numbers of student to test.

Test Center Instructions

Any test that is sent to the Test Center with a student should be placed in a sealed envelope and Karen Dahlgren, 671-2256, or Linda Fink, 671-2441, should be notified that a student is bringing over a test to make sure that we are available and that we have room for testing.

Please tell students that they are required to show a picture ID to test. You know who they are, but we do not.

If you are sending a test for a student who has an accommodation for audio testing, please send the test to the Test Center 48 hours before the test needs to be given.

Guidelines for Students:

Students are responsible to talk to their instructors about the need for testing arrangements and/or accommodations at the Test Center.

Students need to remind the instructor two days before a test is sent or brought over to the Test Center.

Students must show a picture ID to test.
-
Students must be on time and must complete the test at one sitting based on the instructions allotted time.

The NDSCS Test Center will proctor tests free for all NDSCS online students.

Students from other institutions will be charged a fee of $10 per test or $40 per semester, per class.
Students who need to have tests proctored should contact Linda Fink at 701-671-2441 or Karen Dahlgren at 701-671-2256 to make arrangements.

The DAT assessment is given throughout the year by appointment for students applying for the John Deere Ag Tech program.
Students requesting to take this test should contact Karen Dahlgren 701-671-2256 or Maria Kaduc 701-671-2616.
If the student prefers, this test can be mailed to their high school counselor to administer SAT - Scholastic Aptitude Test.

GED Tests are given throughout the year by appointment. For more information, contact:

The ACT is an assessment tool for college placement for high school and college students. The test helps to identify students who are ready for entry-level college courses, students who need basic skills remediation, and students who may be exempt from particular courses.
