Horton History On January 1, 1928, trades departments moved into Horton Hall (then known as the new Trades Building). It housed the printing department, machine shop, automobile repair department, electrical department, and the drafting room. It was constructed at a cost of $65,000 with 10,000 square feet on each floor.
Horton Today 1,800 students pass through the doors of Horton Hall on an annual average basis, and approximately 100 courses are scheduled in the building.
